Age difference gives main facts provided about the feature of the connection between husband and wife. In most cases, men in Russian communities respect women by making sure that husbands are much older than wives. Therefore, marriage was a love affair of wisdom rather than passion, an economic agreement used to indicate one’s preference instead of a romantic experience. Patriarchy was a half section of traditional marriage and for this reason, an essential segment in the marriage law. In their perspective, romantic love is only for the lower classes, however, it did not begin to be the correct process of its marriage performance until the 19th century.

Bart Van De Putte states that further in the 16th-century marriage changed into an equal age marriage. Based on the early half of the nineteenth century, it was a significant era in Russian ancient times. A lot of Russian particular town was stressed out into the war. In many parts of Western Europe, early marriage increased like the number of single individuals decreased in the first half of the 19th century. Understanding this situation requires strong support for equal age marriage. The European marriage decision was established by a huge number of single individuals who were the higher class. The most important part of this individual marriage idea was the rule that required men to support the family as much as women. In some areas of Western Europe the age at the time of their marriage, the number of marriages, and sexual relations reduced in the second half of the 19th century. Thomas Fair believed that the female should act a certain way according to society expectations. The women lived in higher society because they always depend on male relatives.

According to Nevsky Prospekt, the biggest problem was how people confused the reality with their dream. The character Piskarev was anxious because he noticed a young and an attractive prostitute and rapidly falls in love with her immediately. Therefore, he finds a way to go to the brothel and he proposed to her. The same night another soldier Lieutenant Pirogov sees a beautiful blonde woman and he’s attracted to her. The beautiful young woman is not the same person they thought she would be. As it happens, the blonde woman is married to Shiller, the German person that repairs articles of tin.

Peter N. Stearns and Mark Knapp talk about the agreement that was happening on the action of love. It aimed for bigger changes in men’s inner connections with women. 19th-century love pattern makes understandable features of dramatic beliefs, especially on the men’s side. It has become unlikely when love was rising higher than it did in the past. During 1900, men’s enormous feeling changed a lot, not just in love but towards friendships quality and free time. The Lynds stated clearly that women were becoming different than men. Past the 18th century, the racial idea of love was living a greater value, on both ends of the Atlantic. In the development of marriages, love achieved a process called a reasonable component. In an engagement, increasing the state of love and supporting joyful marriages influenced women and men equally. The attention of love brought caused men to think carefully about their wives in a more flattering viewpoint. Furthermore, in the nineteenth century, middle-class men did love many times with a lot of force but they made it larger than the past. An important examination of the 19th century, love affair influenced young men to spill out their personification to the focus of their love and they began to be the insult of love. Men disagreed that it was nothing more besides love that their reality could light into.

Romantic love can possibly be the powerful truth that changed the foundation of marriage. Love developed as two individuals living with agreements and occupying different kinds of sexual feelings.

From the 1830s till the end of the 19th century, middle-class men started to love. As a matter of fact, the men knew the pain love could create, so they were aware of their women getting other men’s attention. In their early maturity, a lot of men were the first one to make love, while women shouldn’t make the first move at all. In fact, busy men and even married men were enjoying the love with women. Especially during the mid-century, the belief of love spread out all over the place. This period of time only supported what men’s inner quality should be. As a matter of fact, when there is a lot of love between you and your spouse; all the difficulties will become solved. Uniquely, women liked pornography better than men. Furthermore, a woman urges her man to be more romantic, rather than seeking conquest without love. Likewise, a woman wishes her man to be more romantic, rather than asking for love

Viewing from different economic systems, there are different moral codes. However, each class has their own rules and if your class is more private then the rules are stricter. Nevertheless, the womanhood in Russia has increased a lot throughout the years. Due to an only small percentage of women, they were allowed to do certain things than men are allowed to. For example, in the early 20th century, women were allowed to work in a factory. However, the property forced women as workers and give the authority to them so they can have an education, a career, and legal agreements of equal chances as men. In addition, women were committed to combine their studies and show instructions, and to become scientists, doctors, engineers, or journalists. From 1907-1917, the League for Women’s Equal Rights was Russia’s feminist organization, which included women’s education such as equal rights. Since their working hours were long and difficult, this was their first time experiencing independence. As a matter of fact, The October Revolution in 1917 increased the right to vote for women. In fact, Russia was the first major world power to do this. Under the Soviet Union, women roles changed a lot. Additionally, feminism and women’s movement in Russia has been changing by the past precise lifestyle which became different for Russian society in every area.

As a matter of fact, Russian women are very beautiful, charming, and mysterious; that’s what most men think. In many countries, women are more independent from their men. Additionally, women look for traits such as intelligence, kindness, loyalty, and bravery towards men. In their perspective, that’s what makes you a good husband and father. Of course, women wish to meet someone who will take care of them and love them a lot. They will obviously give it back in return. If a woman like you, then she will drop some hints rather than showing it. Therefore, with the signals women give you, you have to start the conversation first because they going to wait for a man to lead the way. In addition to the Russian families, the husband has to be 4-6 years older than his wife. Until the end of the twentieth century, marriages at the age of 18-20 were common. Based on Russian education, women were 90% illiterate and men were 70%.

Whenever women go outside; they tend to wear neutral clothing, always in high heels, and not caring about the weather. Inconsistently, women were usually expected to experience their whole life at their home. Free time for women was not expected to be wasted just relaxing but doing a different kind of things to care for the family.

According to The Torrents of Spring; the narrator Sanin had love at first sight with Gemma who was a young Italian woman. Although Gemma just broke off her engagement with her husband Klubber; she starts to have a feeling for Sanin, but she won’t confess it yet. Sanin loves Gemma a lot and he would do anything for her. The reason why Gemma’s parents want her to marry Klubber is that he is a businessman and he’s really rich. In the end, Gemma confronted her feelings towards Sanin and they moved to America and they’re living their best life.

As you can see, marriage was a love affair of wisdom rather than passion, an economic agreement used to indicate one’s preference instead of a romantic experience. In fact, this period of time only supported what men’s inner quality should be. Obviously, viewing from different economic systems, there are different moral codes.
